Spring is such a beautiful time of the year and vegetables flourish. So our spring cooking class will be all about Spring vegetables, using a range of Spring vegetables in a range of ways, perfect for starters, mains, sides and more. Why can't a vegetable be the hero?

Join Rosa on a Saturday morning for this interactive cooking demonstration there will be plenty of tasters, recipe cards and something special to take home.

And for our second Seasonal Italy we will also have a special guest, you will get to meet one of the very few local growers of artichokes, learn more about this versatile and underutilised vegetable.

A limited bar will be available to purchase wine and beer with EFT facilities.

TICKET CONDITIONS
All tickets are refundable up to 14 days prior to the event. If less than 14 days notice is given prior to the event date, tickets cannot be refunded, but can be moved to the next event. Dietary requirements are required 14 days prior to the event date, we will attempt to cater for all requirements. The event will be confirmed 14 days prior to the date, if the event is cancelled a full refund will be made.

Easter Menu

To celebrate Easter this year Rosa will be serving Chocolate Rabbit from the 10th of April up to Easter.

This is the only time of the year Rosa’s famous Italian style chocolate rabbit so be sure not to miss out.

Sourcing locally farmed rabbits they will be slowly braised and then covered in Rosa’s special chocolate sauce.

In the easter mood we will also be serving up a range of Easter Italian sweets transporting you to the full Italian Easter experience.

Rosa's Canteen will transform and transport you to a night at the movies in Italy. It’s a two-for-one – dinner and a movie, with a film plucked from Italy accompanied by a menu inspired by the same movie, interpreted by Rosa. The perfect date night!

Rosa presents the ultimate date night. Starting with a glass of something spritzy, sit back and relax with a vintage Italian film screening, while Rosa interprets the dishes from the film in her own inimitable style. Merchant is hosting a fundraising dinner by four great Italian chefs to help those affected by the recent earthquake in Amatrice. Rosa Mitchell (Rosa's Canteen), Guy Grossi (Grossi Florentino), Massimo Mele (Catering by Massimo), Johnny Di Francesco (400 Gradi) will be presenting four courses including antipasto, pasta, main and dessert.

$180 per person. All proceeds go to the earthquake appeal.

What could be a better than a dinner cooked by both Rosa Mitchell and Alfredo La Spina (of Bar Idda)? Together they will celebrate the ancient foods of Sicily. Each chef will present four dishes with influences from the bygone era of this historic Mediterranean island. The menu will feature rabbit, cassata and more delicious examples of Sicily’s important culinary history.

This is the final event of Giro d'Italia where Rosa has shown off Italy’s illustrious and varied regions through the plate and the glass.

On Saturday the 8th of October, Rosa’s Canteen will explore the Puglia region with four courses of family-style sharing plates. Puglia, a region in southern Italy, is known for its sunny weather, whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and hundreds of miles of Mediterranean coastline.  Discover hidden stories and Italian flavours dotted across this famous region.

$65 per person for food only (alcohol additional), and bottles of wines from the region will be available for purchase on the night.
